Welcome Aboard!

Star Fleet owns and operates a fleet of five entertainment yachts that are used for corporate events, weddings and celebrations in the Houston area. The company has its own private Kemah marina; employs fifty crew members and staff and has been in business since 1993.

Rated the Best - 96% of guests surveyed gave their Star Fleet experience the highest rating.

Star Fleet has its own private marina with easy access and plenty of free parking for you and your guests.

Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm

Private showings are available after hours and on weekends by appointment.

Cruise Consultant

Amy Shanks loves helping clients plan events...especially on the water! She has an unusual knack for keeping track of cruise details and efficiently and effectively handling inquiries. She’s married and has a five year old “mini–me” that looks just like her!

Cruise Consultant & Operations Coordinator

Vernon Camus brings a wide range of hospitality experience to Star Fleet and is able to handle wedding coordinating, cruise consulting, crew scheduling and many other responsibilities. He is passionate about creating successful events and is determined to make even the most complicated cruise go off without a hitch!

President

Tom Lober is a native Houstonian and founded Star Fleet Yachts in 1992. He holds a B.S. in Marine Transportation from Texas A&M, a Master’s Degree in Maritime Management from Maine Maritime Academy and a 1,600 Ton Master’s License and Third Mates Unlimited Tonnage License. Tom loves to entertain guests on the water and has been fortunate enough to turn his passion into his life’s work.

Director of Operations

Allan Post holds a B.S. in Meteorology and Oceanography from New York Maritime College, a 1,600 Ton Master’s License and a Third Mate Unlimited Tonnage License. He has served as Barge Master for River Barge Excursion Lines and Captain for Texas Department of Transportation. And with his hotel management experience brings a unique skill set to Star Fleet.
