Abandon Ship

You are on a yacht in the South Pacific when you suddenly hit an iceberg. The boat is quickly sinking. You are given a list of only 20 items you can take with you on the lifeboat. Which items would you take and why? Compare your score to those of your group. Did you score higher or did they?

Human Bingo: You are provided a card with 25 interesting fact about different guests You must find who that applies to and get them to initial that fact. The first person to collect 25 initials…wins!

Human Palm Tree: Using long animal-twist balloons, you must turn a teammate into a human palm tree. The team with the most Palm Fronds on the tree’s head wins.

Tacky Tourist: On vacation you are what you wear!!! Your team mates have to dress you so you can run a relay race. May the Tackiest Tourist win!

Helpful Hints

Confidentiality: Although you may be privy to how the games are played, please do not share this information with the other guests. You don’t want to ruin the element of surprise or stifle creativity. You never know what they will come up with!

Mix Up The Teams: We tend to socialize with those like ourselves. Plan ahead to break up departments and clicks by assigning each guest to a team. Some of the goals of team building are to “break down barriers”, “improve communication and trust” and “learning to value diversity”. Shake it up a bit and see what happens!

Door Prizes: Client to provide door prizes to “sweeten the pot”. These can be dollar store items, gift certificates, T-shirts, candy bars…anything goes!
