Charter Agreement Terms |
To secure a yacht for the date and time of your cruise, a nonrefundable
deposit and signed Charter Agreement are required.
Deposit & Payment Schedule:
25% of the Proposal Amount due upon booking your cruise, if the
cruise is more than 90 days from the booking date.
50% of the Proposal Amount due 90 days before the cruise.
100% of Proposal Amount due 14 days before the cruise.
Cancellation Provision— Star Fleet Retains:
0 to 30 days prior to cruise—75% of Guaranteed Total (Proposal
Amount, if no guarantee was given).
31 to 90 days prior to cruise—50% of Proposal Amount
Over 90 days prior to cruise—25% of Proposal Amount
Afternoon cruises must return by 4 pm and evening cruises must begin
after 6pm.
18% service charge and 8% sales tax are additional.
Thirty additional minutes are allowed for boarding. The yacht returns
fifteen minutes prior to the end of the cruise to allow for disembarkation
of the guests. An overtime charge will be assessed if passengers
have not departed in the allotted time.
Your guaranteed guest count is due 21 days prior to your charter with
payment due 14 days prior to your charter. Your guaranteed guest
count may be increased by 20% up to two business days prior to your
charter with payment due at time of increase.
Payment for additional guests is required prior to cruise departure.
Services requested while cruising (i.e. additional cruising time) are
payable upon completion of the cruise.
Boarding at other docks in Clear Lake may require an additional
dockage fee. Boarding in Houston or Galveston is available for an
additional two hours evening vessel fee for your yacht plus applicable
dockage fees. (Not available on Saturdays)
